Jasiah Vs Day 2

 What's Up Chat! Today I am discussing my second day of filming. During the second day of filming me and my group got a lot of work done. We ended up changing our story around a little bit to adjust to me and my groups needs and concerns. We were pressed for time with deadlines and being indecisive so we sort of just went with our new options. We don't want our film to feel rushed and fast-paced and we hope we didn't portray this in our film. Here's how our day 2 of filming went...

Day 2 of Filming: Today we went to Courtney's house once again to finish the second half of filming. Our film crew involved Me, Jasmine, Jonnele, Courtney, Nyles, and Chris for extra support and feedback for our movie. We started cutting down on the climax of our opener building up suspense as we show Jasmine happy to see her boyfriend but then going outside and see that nobody is there. Filming these shots were pretty simple as it didn't take much refilms and there were only a few outside shots to be filmed. We then have Jasmine go back inside and with me the boyfriend/killer inside her house already waiting to kill her. The inside shots were our major challenge as the lighting was a problem. We filmed after school so we were able to use natural lighting from the sun to illuminate most of our shots. But inside of Courtney's living room there isn't much space for lighting penetration. Her windows are on the side opposite from the sun and her living room light wasn't fit for the sun. It took us time to discuss how we would illuminate this scene. But we overcame this challenge but putting a white light on the TV to bring light to the scene and we also opened the window curtains so that we could have better light to help our scene. For our inside shots we only filmed Jasmine walking towards the couch, her calling me, and then me popping up from behind the couch and stabbing her. This may sound fast-paced but we don't want it to feel fast-paced. This was our changed ending as our original would've been me killing Jasmine outside before we went out to our date.
