Brainstorming!!!
What's Up Chat, Today me and my group were working on some idea's for our final group project and here's some of our ideas...
1st Idea: Our first Idea is a Horror Movie. Me and all of my group members agree with this genre as I'm a big fan of these types of movies and I think its really engaging. The music, acting, and movements are all simple things I know me and my group can execute to make a horror movie opener. But me and my group don't just want any regular horror movie opener, we want to make a great one. One that truly grasp the readers attention, with a tense atmosphere, and essentially makes them feel scared. I think the only obstacle we will face is the acting. We must make sure to really sell the horror scene that we are trying to portray. The only problem is that this genre is used very often, so me and my group would have to work hard to make sure our project stands out apart from others.
2nd Idea: Our second idea for our project is a teenage dream movie. We are trying to go for a sort of aesthetic, "forever young", just teenagers enjoying life sort of feeling. At first I didn't really understand this genre but after thinking about it more I really like this genre as well. I think me and my group can execute this very nicely as long as we stick to the message we are trying to portray. After further thought this may be my number 1 option for our final group project.
3rd Idea: Our last idea is a Sci-Fi/simulation sort of movie. We are trying to produce a film where the main character is living life but then starts to have sort of a derealization as they realize that they are living in a "simulation" or their world is "fake". This is probably my least favorite option as I kind off don't understand how we would execute this to make this a good film. My group plans on making joining all of our ideas together (the horror and teenage dream) alongside this genre to make the movie more interesting. Overall the idea is not bad but I'm just not 100% sure on how me and my group will execute this idea.
