Scream! Mood Board

 

What's Up chat, you know Halloween just passed and in honor of the spooky season I decided to watch Scream IV. The scream series is one of, if not, my favorite scary movie series. So, I decided to use this movie as my mood board for this weeks blog. Here's how it went...

 

 Mood Board: I split my mood board into 4 parts with 4 pictures each. The top left represents the beginning of the movie, the top right represents the middle of the movie, the bottom left represents the 75% portion of the movie, and the bottom right represents the final scenes of the movie.

Top Left Corner: This corner represents the beginning of the movie as one of the main characters, Tara, is greeted with a phone call from the masked killer, Ghostface. She is attacked by Ghostface and stabbed 7 times, but luckily she survives and is left in critical condition. After she is attacked her older sister Sam Carpenter rushes to Woodsboro with her boyfriend, Richie, to console her younger sister. She meets with her younger sister and they unite together to figure out who hurt Tara

Top Right Corner: The top right represents the next step in the movie as Sam, and Richie seek out Dewey Riley (one of the cast members from the previous scream movies), they convince Dewey to help them stop this new Ghostface. Dewey contacts Gale and Sidney (more cast members from previous movies) to warn them about the return of Ghostface. Sam, Richie, and Dewey meet up with Tara's friend group and they all meet together to get clue's and learn more about the new Ghostface. As they share ideas with each other, they all must remain suspicious of each other until the killer is found. As Ghostface continues their killing spree the townsfolk and main characters remain in fear until the mystery is resolved.

Bottom Left Corner: This corner represents the mystery behind Ghostface. At this part of the movie Ghostface has already killed one of Tara's friend, the sheriff, and Dewey Riley. With 2 new deaths Ghostface identity remains unknown. And in correlation with previous scream movies, there is always 2 killers.

Bottom Right Corner: This final corner represents the finishing touches of this amazing movie. In this section, Tara and Sam meet up at Stu Macher's old house (the house from previous movies where Stu and Billy Loomis murdered multiple people). The unknown killer kills another one of Tara's friends as Tara and Sam enter the house looking for Tara's inhaler. During this Ghostface is running around the house attempting to kill Tara and Sam. Meanwhile Gale and Sidney arrive at the house to save Tara and Sam. Upon their arrival the killers are revealed to be Richie (Sam's boyfriend) and Amber (Tara's best friend). The survivors are shocked by this discovery as the killers reveal their motives and master plan. Sam and Richie end up fighting each other while Amber holds Gale and Sidney hostage. Ultimately, Sam ends up victorious by stabbing Richie multiple times. Alternatively, with the help of Gale and Sidney defeat Amber with the help of Tara as she shoots Amber in the head and finally kills her. The 4 girls leave the house alive and victorious as they can finally be at ease since they solved the mystery and killed both killers.
