The World Through Deadpool and Wolverine

 What's up chat, today I watched rewatched the new movie Deadpool and Wolverine. I captured some angles used in the movie to help tell the story. Here's how it went...

Full-Shot: Towards the end of the movie the film uses a full shot to capture both Wolverine and Deadpool. This shot makes both characters look awesome as they are marching towards an army of dead pools preparing to battle to save the universe. This scene made me feel excited for the upcoming scenes, since I knew there was going to be an epic fight ahead..

Two-Shot: Here, the film uses a two shot to capture the sense of hopelessness both characters are feeling and also capturing the subject of their despair (the computer screen). In this scene the computer screen is showing a meter that shows the percentage of life their current universe has. The meter is gradually decreasing and both characters are looking at each other as if it is over and there is no hope for their universe. This gave me a sense of anticipation, because I was waiting for what would happen in the next scene. I refused to believe that Deadpool and Wolverine would let the universe die that easily.

Close-Up: Towards the beginning of the movie the filmmakers use a close-up shot to establish Deadpool and Wolverine's first interaction. Here you can see a blurry version of Deadpool in the background looking at Wolverine. In this part of the movie, Deadpool suddenly appears next to Wolverine, this is so he can convince wolverine to help him save his universe. This shot captured my interest because prior to this Deadpool went to multiple universes to try to find a wolverine to help him. Furthermore, I was interested to see if this would be the first Wolverine to actually help Deadpool with his mission.

Establishing Shot: This is one of or if not my favorite part of the movie. Here the filmmakers use an establishing shot to show the setting where Deadpool and Wolverine fight. This was a highly anticipated fight for me so finally seeing this fight happen made me really happy. The use of the establishing shot made me feel excited for the next scene because I knew a really awesome fight was about to happen.

Medium-Shot: This is one of the last parts of the movie showing Deadpool and Wolverines final struggle to save the universe. This shots establishes a sense of teamwork as Deadpool and Wolverine are holding hands, working together to absorb the energy to save the universe. The shot is also close enough to capture the effects of the energy on the characters body. As you can see their body is glowing, this is because the atoms in their body are slowing breaking apart as they absorb the energy. This scene made me happy and also anxious for the next scene. I was happy because they were gonna save the universe, but anxious because I thought both characters were going to die.
