Jasiah & Brianna Vs. The Wrld

Yooooo What's up chat, Today me and my sister took videos capturing my use of different camera angles. Here's how it went...

Shot 1: Low Angle Shot

-In this shot i was trying to establish the environment of the school. Trying to show the ominous effect of the incoming rainclouds.

Shot 2: Low Angle Shot/Tilt

-In this shot I put my phone towards the floor and steadily raised it up until I was hip level with the subject. Once I was hip level with the character I began to tilt my phone upwards. I was trying to establish the subjects (Brianna) dominance over the audience. Making the Brianna seem bigger than she really is. In the end of the shot I tilted the phone to make the character look down at the audience. This makes the character seem as if she has more power over others.

Shot 3: Eye Shot/ Extreme Close Up (ECU)

-In this shot I went up close to Brianna and captured her eyes. The character appears to be staring very hard into the camera. This lets the audience know that the character is being very serious in this scene. This is also a handheld shot, since I was holding the camera and you can visually see the camera shaking.

Shot 4: Extreme Wide Shot/ Wide Shot (W.S)

-In this scene I backed up all the way to my garage and left Brianna in the street. I was trying to capture her environment while leaving her visible enough to be seen but not visible enough to see any physical features. This gives off a sort of creepy effect as she is standing in the road not moving or showing any emotions. This reminds me of a scene from a horror movie like Halloween with Michael Myers or Scream.

Shot 5: High Angle Shot

-In this scene I went on my tippy toes, raised my arms, and stood over the subject. I made the subject look up at the camera to give off a sort of powerless effect.
